Male Bonding

You do not truly know someone until you fight them
The Seraph to Neo, The Matrix Reloaded

This reiterated what I was talking to IC about one lunchtime. During the bonding process boys test each other's degrees of 'hardness' by fighting. Having a good fair and tough contest leads to a strong friendship. These friendships are often sealed forever when they have to fight against 'enemies' together. They know each other's skills and therefore can put their trust in each other during testing times like street fighting.

There concludes my lesson from the streets (scary stuff). And I always thought fighting was a base reaction to provocation.
