We pulled in for a brief stop at Elephant & Castle behind a bendy no.12 which had decanted a number of passengers, who stood around in poses of defiance or resigned indignity accompanied by police officers and ticket inspectors, who it appears from their illuminous jackets, have been renamed (hear the deep american male voiceover now) Revenue Protectors.
